summer 2012 kickoff starts now summer 2012 kickoff starts now!

As early as September 22, 2011, I have booked myself and my family for our annual Summer Kickoff (2012) and this time we are headed to Puerto Princesa Palawan.

I have made several inquiries regarding available packages and several pension houses were offering superb price for backpackers. Two weeks prior to our scheduled flight, we were informed that the pension house we are transacting with  can no longer accommodate our Underground River tour as as it is already fully booked. I was really disappointed to know that after series of information exchange they are unable to book us for the underground river tour.

This is when we tried to pull some strings and luckily we have pulled the correct strings.

Three days before our flight my brother sent the number of Ms. Rose Cacho. She is working for a hotel in Puerto Princesa and is willing to help us out for the trip (too bad Skyline Hotel was already fully booked). Believe it or not, she was able to book us in Tropical Sun Inn and arrange for our City Familiarization Tour, Honda Bay Tour and Underground River Tour.

Our group is composed of Tita Julie, Tito Wils, Jeeko, Mama and me.  We booked 2 rooms at Tropical Sun Inn and joined other groups in our Palawan Adventure.

Day 1: City Familiarization Tour – half day city tour of Puerto Princesa visiting its famous landmarks and tourist spots.
